Autumn/ Winter Paul Smith has arrived!

We hate to mention the 'A' word but with September almost upon us it means that Autumn is just around the corner. In all honesty here at Bishop Phillpott Autumn is our favourite season, it's an excuse to indulge our love of knitwear, coats and boots! It also means lots of fabulous new arrivals in the boutique. Keep an eye on the blog over the next couple of months where we'll be giving you the inside track on all the new arrivals in store so that you don't miss out on our exclusive collections.

This week we thought we'd share with you just a few of our favourite new arrivals from Paul Smith. It's all change this season with Paul Smith's collections with both mainline, Paul Smith Black and Paul all being combined into one fabulous label, meaning that there are some truly stand out pieces we've been able to add to our rails for Autumn.

Here's a little look at some of our favourites, and with more of the collection still arriving there'll be lots more to get excited about!

We love statement knitwear, and this jumper is just fab! A rich navy with gorgeous grey textured polka dots, this piece will really liven your denim this winter and will look great layered over a longline shirt.

Cute and kitsch, this heart print cotton shirt is classic Paul Smith, great with denim or under a suit jacket for a fun twist.

Chunky knits are a great statement this season and we love the detail on this one. With an unusual knit and contrast neck and cuffs we think this will look great teamed with black denim or even some black leather trousers and trainers for a sports luxe look.

It wouldn't be a Paul Smith collection without a goregous bright cardigan, this red one looks great layered over the heart print shirt you've just seen on the blog, a great way to brighten your wardrobe for the winter months! And don't get us started on how cute the heart print jumper is...you've got to be quick with this one as a lot of sizes have already gone...it's easy to see why!

Velvet is a huge trend this Autumn, and this absolutely beautiful jacket gives a great nod to that trend with it's velvet textured polka dots. The double breasted shape gives this jacket an added edge, we just love it! Team with the matching cropped flair trousers and trainers for a laid back luxe look, dress up the same outfit with heels and a silk top for an evening or team the jacket with denim...it's a real forever piece!

Also featuring beautiful velvet polka dots, this peplum detail top is super flattering, team with cigarette trousers and killer heels for a gorgeous evening look.

Something you can wear now right through to the winter, this peplum shirt is a beautiful shape and looks gorgeous with white denim now, but team under your favourite navy jacket or a bright cardigan and you have a piece to take you through the season.

Fun and oh so Paul Smith, this shirt is just gorgeous. Wear buttoned up high to make a statement with tailored trousers and brogues or keep casual with denim.
