Bringing colour to your Spring wardrobe- Pom Amsterdam now in store!

We know many of you have become huge fans of Pom Amsterdam in recent years, perhaps it's because like us you've fallen for their amazing combinations of colour, the beautiful prints all designed in house by the sisters behind the brand or perhaps it's the fact that their pieces are just so wearable? Whatever it is, we know there's been lots of you waiting patiently for the new season collection to arrive in store. The good news is, after a little wait, Pom’s latest collection is now in store, and with the sun shining and weather warming up, it couldn’t have been more perfectly timed!

Since 2011, the sisters behind the POM Amsterdam brand, Liesbeth and Violet Lotgering, have been making high-quality scarves and clothing in which women feel beautiful and strong. Fashion items that emphasize unique femininity and with which you express your true, colourful self.

The collections consist of elegant and feminine styles characterised by contrasting colours, pronounced prints and the use of fine and natural fabrics. The sisters design all prints and items themselves. Each print tells a unique story and is hand painted by Violet from the colourful studio in Amsterdam. This season the sisters have moved towards a more sustainable collection and have opted for a range of soft and sustainable fabrics such as cupro, ecovero and organic cotton. Wonderfully airy, light and comfortable. But above all, better for the environment.

We love the versatility of this collection, it can be styled so differently for a variety of occassions, whether you've got a summer wedding on the horizon, a catch up with friends or you just want to feel great in the everyday. These prints and pieces team perfectly with your favourite denim for an instant update, but can be dressed up with ease of those special occassions. This shirt and trouser combination has been chosen by a customer for a wedding, teamed with the cream jersey jacket, as soon as we saw it on we fell in love with these pieces for a special occasion which looked absolutely stunning on. And how comforable will it be to wear all day at a wedding!

The great thing about these pieces though is that they can be worn separately to give them that longevity. Team the trousers (which are by the way a gorgeous slightly flared shape) with a knit or a plain tee for a casual look, layer with a denim jacket for those cooler days. The beautiful colour combination of this blouse really does make it stand out, the lime contrasted with the vibrant blue looks gorgeous styled here with paler denim (we've just had a delivery of some jeans in a similar colour way from American Vintage), but we think at this time of year you can't beat this blouse teamed with dark denim. The fabric on this beautiful blouse is beautifully light and airy which gives it that easy to wear appeal for the spring/ summer months. It's truly versatile, looking just as great teamed here with tailored trousers as it will do with some wide legged jeans.

The jersey weave jacket from Pom is always a huge hit each season, with it's beautiful shaping made even more wearable with it being made of super soft jersey. Each jacket is lined with a beautiful print which has been hand designed by the sisters giving it that extra special touch. Team with any of the blouses in the collection and your favourite denim or layer over the print trousers and shirt at the top of this blog for a perfect special occasion outfit.

The print of this beautiful dress has to be seen up close to be really appreciated, sillef with tropical flowers, animals and figures it really is so unusual. (It's the same print as the pritned trousers and shirt at the top of the blog) The dress comes with this fab contrast belt as well as one in the same print as the dress to give you extra options.
