Cashmere & cosy accessories to keep you wrapped up in style!

December has welcomed us with some gorgeously cold and crisp days, which quite frankly after the torrential rain of the last few weeks have been a welcome arrival! The shift to colder weather has got us reaching for our cashmere pieces, naturally warm and perfect for regulating your body temperature in the colder weather, cashmere is always our go to for colder weather. There really is nothing that makes you feel more special than being wrapped up in luxurious cashmere!

Here at Bishop Phillpott we carefully select our cashmere brands for their quality, durability and their ethics, we focus on two cashmere brands in store, both of which are renowned for these qualities and more- Jumper 1234 and Van Kukil.

Jumper 1234 is a British cashmere brand which focuses on bringing fun to your wardrobe with gorgeous and unexpected colour combinations, patterns and shapes. All of their cashmere is sourced and crafted in Mongolia by artisans with a wealth of experience and is responsibly sourced. They're the brand we go to for that little something different, something to liven up our denim and feel great in!

Van Kukil are an established family brand who have been making cashmere in Mongolia since 1889, the quality of their cashmere (which is organic & kindly sourced0 is like no other, it really is absolutely beautiful and so luxurious- perhaps that's why many of the big fashion houses used them for their own cashmere. Their designs are subtle, understated and simply beautiful, with textured knitting techniques and attention to detail such as puff sleeves, staggered hems and stitching which make them stand out from the lower quality cashmere we so often see on the high street.

And if cashmere isn't enough to keep you cosy this winter, we've picked out some of our gorgeous knitted accessories from British brand Quinton & Chadwick, for that added snuggle. This brand's pieces are all designed in the UK and made in Scotland using beautiful quality wool- we love how fun their accessories are, with gorgeous colour combinations to liven up your winter wardrobe.
