Designed in Amsterdam- prints to inspire your Autumn wardrobe from Pom!

It can often feel like a daunting prospect to move into our autumn wardrobes after a long summer of colourful clothes and lighter layers, and especially so after the long spell of beautiful weather we had this summer. But we're on hand to help ease you into the autumn, with a whole host of new collections to inspire you! The shop is now filled with beautiful new season collections from Paul Smith, Weekend by MaxMara, Primrose Park, Dea Kudibal, Jumper 1234 and American Vintage. But this week we wanted to focus on one of our particular favourites which has just arrived in store in the last couple of days, and that brand is the fabulous Pom Amsterdam.

Pom is just the perfect brand to smooth that transition into your autumn wardrobe. Designed by two sisters, Liesbeth and Violet Lotgering, in Amsterdam, the brand are famed for their stunning and unique prints, each print is designed by the sisters by hand and crafted into beautiful fabrics to make up the collection. And this, we feel, is the key to why you all love Pom so much. Their colour combintations and designs are like nothing you will see anywhere else, and are transformed into wearable pieces that can bring colour and fun to your everyday wardrobe.

Their dresses are always super popular in store because of their versatility, and autumn is the perfect time to showcase that. Wear them now with trainers and a denim jacket for a casual look, or team with heels for an evening. But as the weather cools there are so many ways to layer them. Layer over a chunky cardigan (American Vintage have some colours this season that pair perfectly with these prints), and team with a pair of knee high block heel boots or dress down with a flat chunky boot. Layer them over a super fine turtle neck, again American Vintage have some great ones. Or simply team with your favourite leather jacket or oversized coat.

The collection also features some gorgeous printed blouses which are great for this time of year, when the weather starts to cool, but it's not quite time to transition into our knitwear. Team these with your favourite jeans and trainers for a daytime look, or black wide legged trousers and loafers to smarten the look up.
