Fresh outfit inspiration from Weekend by MaxMara!

The last couple of weeks have seen some absolutely gorgeous new arrivals from Weekend by MaxMara, so we thought we'd share with you some of our favourite pieces from the latest collection and put together some outfits to inspire you for the new season. We love the versatility of this latest collection, mixing together gorgeous emeralds and blues with classic navy's for a fresh take on dressing for spring. As with a lot of collections at the moment there's a huge focus on wide legged trousers and a more relaxed silhouette, but what we particularly love about the Weekend by MaxMara collection is that these over sized shapes have really been considered, the tailoring means that although oversized the pieces still give you a great shape, a sign of true quality.

The collection has some beautiful pieces that are so wearable for the every day and a welcome change from our jeans which we all heavily rely on in our wardrobes. They are carefully considered pieces that will make you feel that extra bit special, a feeling we think we all deserve!

The back of this beautifully tailored shirt echoes the vibrant emerald print, the pair combined make a real statement outfit. But what we ove about these pieces is that they work so well separately as well. Team the shirt with a great pair of jeans or tailored white trousers. A classic MaxMara look with a modern twist. These wide leg cotton trousers are so comfortable yet look relaxed and stylish at the same time. They are actually designed to be a crop but on a lot of people they are long enough to be full length (we can of course alter them to make them more of a crop if you desire!! Here we've worn the camel wide legged trousers with a white shirt and the most beautiful cashmere knit in a rich magenta stripe. We've made the look more casual by teaming with our new Paul Smith pink trainers and a crossbody bag from Markberg.
